Motion detection and vector mathematics. If you have used "Ball Pit" before, then this application will be intuitive to you. The score increases when you bounce the ball and returns to zero when the ball touches the ground. If you are really into the game and want to get a good score, remember that motion detection here is based purely on the two-dimensional images that your webcam captures so you may want to point your webcam at a well-lit plain-coloured part of the room with little or no unexpected movement (including moving shadows), or sabotage a challenger who does.
